This beautiful stone farmhouse was restored single-handedly, as a labour of love.
The house, with a barn attached, was renovated to include a large open plan reception area and lounge and a spacious traditional kitchen. An open plan gallery with high ceilings and wooden walkways was constructed to bridge the space below, with a master bedroom at one end of the house and a guest bedroom, office and beautiful well equipped bathroom at the other.
The house (roofs, walls and concrete floors) was fully renovated, insulated with both thermal and radiant barriers and the roof of the adjoining barn was renovated. One of the barns opposite was partly renovated as a gîte.
